Tummy Tamer for Dogs
We all know what it feels like to have an upset tummy, and I for one know the pain associated with the dreaded gastro.
There is a way you can help support not only yourself if you should so end up in this situation but most importantly your dog.
Case study: Liquid diarrhoea and grass eating/vomit.
My dog Ian the 2 year old German Shepherd drank out of a muddy puddle over the weekend and had a tummy upset which resulted in very wet rear end accidents and a few little vomits here and there.
Grass eating was in full swing and I just knew he needed some support.
Along with ensuring he has plenty of fluids and a bland diet - I added some colloidal silver to the dogs water to give him the best shot at getting better.
Diffusion
I added 3 drops of ginger essential oil to my diffuser in the living area with the back door open for escape if needed, this is very important when you have multiple dogs in the house. Ian lay on the mat close to the diffuser so I knew he knew he needed it.
You could also choose these oils - coriander, ginger, fennel, peppermint.
Topical application:
Apply 1–2 drops digestzen 2–4 times daily as follows:
1 tblsp carrier oil to 2 drops Essential Oil for dogs up to 9kg.
1 tsp carrier oil to 2 drops Essential Oil for dogs over 9kg
Over a 24hr period the poop went from liquid, to soft serve, to formed.
