One on One Dog Training Lesson

We will help you train your dog

“Westside Paws” are “Force-free” “Reward based” trainers.

We build, trust, love and respect between you and your dog as scientific evidence shows up-to-date training methods are NOT based around fear. We offer a professional dog training service - “helping you help your dog”.

When you meet with your “Westside Paws” trainer, Jazz, your session is personalised and tailored to you and your dog’s needs. The more information you provide in the online questionnaire form, the better.

Some examples of popular dog training requests:

  • setting puppy up at home

  • jumping up

  • barking

  • pulling on the lead

  • digging

  • lunging or reactivity

  • counter-surfing

  • noise phobias

  • bringing baby home

  • basic obedience etc.…..

If you have been thinking about group classes without the weekly commitment, there is also the option of our “Casual Classes” for dogs WITHOUT reactivity. They are not held weekly so take a look and see if this is something that you are interested in with your dog.

Private Training sessions are held at 13 Butler Road, Altona North unless arranged prior.


We do service the following areas for an extra fee:

Altona, Seaholme, Altona North, South Kingsville, Spotswood, North Williamstown & Williamstown = $30
Kingsville, Seddon & Yarraville = $50

West Footscray & West Footscray = $70

Weekends $30 extra

Private Training sessions are held in Newport public space. Otherwise, the extra travel fee is: West Footscray & West Footscray = $50 Kingsville, Seddon & Yarraville = $30 Altona North, South Kingsville, Spotswood, North Williamstown & Williamsto

Conditions

Upon booking you agree to the Terms of Service

Your dog must be up to date with vaccinations.

You must fill out the form below to the best of your knowledge.

You must declare if your dog has a bite history.

We will meet at a specified location, the whole family is welcome and encouraged.

We have a facility in Millers Junction (13 Butler Road, Altona North) where appointments will take place.

If you would prefer a home visit please select the extra travel fee when booking.

If you prefer a park visit, we can arrange this after the initial visit.

Once you have booked you will then be emailed some “homework” to complete prior to your scheduled time.
