We will cover all things puppy and up, what to expect, how to train, socialise but most importantly what that ACTUALLY means!
Topics covered in no particular order:
Basics: Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Leave it, Heel
Leash Training: Walk on a loose leash without pulling, leash manners & polite greetings
Handling and Grooming: Being touched, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning
Basic Manners: Jumping up, house manners; patience for meals and treats
Distraction Training: Focusing on you despite distractions
Engagement: Engaging with the owner
Anything else the class agrees to cover!
Course Details - Altona North
Cost: $240
Start Dates: Saturday 14th September 2024, Monday 14th October & Saturday 30th November 2024
Length:4x45min sessions – subsequent weeks
Where: 13 Butler Road, Altona North
Times: Saturdays & Monday 8pm
Our classes are jam-packed with science-based information from your experienced trainer. This course is designed for both new and outdated dog owners, families with kids to help you improve your dog handling skills.
We love for kids to be involved, but there must be one adult to handle the dog and one adult to handle the child and to ensure everyones safety.
BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE NOTE:
Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations.
The date you select in the booking system is the date the course begins.
4 weeks back-to-back classes, no make up sessions.
This class is for dogs over 5 months of age or any puppies that have competed any of our puppy classes.
Dogs must not show signs of reactivity or aggression - if your dog displays this currently please book a private training session.
